Day 2, Brussels, Ghent, Brugge
We arrived in Belgium about 20 minutes late , around 7:30 this morning, and had a very long line to go through security.
Took almost 2 hours until we got out and met Ayold. He thought we had gotten lost.
All of our luggage came through, for which we are very thankful.
Beautiful warm, sunny day, temp around 25C.
Raf, our city tour guide was also at the airport. We went on a city bus tour, and then about 1 hour walking tour, seeing old cathedrals, and going to the city square of Grand Place. Many beautiful ornate buildings.
Belgium is also famous for chocolates and we saw lots of chocolate shops.
I'm too tired to write more tonight, so will write more tomorrow about Ghent and Brugge.
